Web Hosting Move Service
The "Help Me Move" service has been introduced to our support portfolio as we recognise the fact that moving hosts can be a stressful occupation!
The way it works is very simple. Once you have ordered your hosting plan, simply open a support ticket and let us know the details below. We will then transfer your site from your old host to ourself. We aim to complete the process within a 24 hour timescale with zero downtime for your site or users.
- The Help me Move service is for new accounts and a single web site.
- For multiple sites, please contact us for a detailed quote.
- You will need to provide us with the following information in order to complete the move:
- Your FTP login details for your old site
- Any database login details
- Your login information for where your domain name is registered
Please note that due to the differences in server platforms, some scripts and functions on your site may need to be adapted or removed in order for the site to function on our servers. Normally this would only apply to a site hosted on a Unix server.
